Theologica is a thoughtfully designed theological study application for the iPhone, integrating the profound wealth of the Church’s intellectual heritage from the 1st to the 21st century. This app aims to serve as an indispensable resource for theology students, educators, and those seeking to engage thoughtfully with their faith.

Theologica encompasses five key sections: Overview, Reference, Dictionary, Maps, and Explorations, each geared towards deepening users' understanding of theology across diverse contexts.

• Overview: This section provides a holistic perspective on theology as a dynamic dialogue striving to interpret the Church’s Faith within its historical milieu. It emphasizes the importance of utilizing varied sources—such as the Magisterium, Sacred Scripture, Church Fathers, Ecumenical Councils, Creeds, and Liturgy—to inform theological discourse. Moreover, it recognizes the necessity of attending to contemporary cultural influences like Philosophy, Science, Technology, Politics, Economics, and the Arts in shaping theological understanding.
• Reference: The Reference tab offers a curated collection of active links that correspond to the various categories introduced in the Overview. These resources serve as vital connections to practical applications of theology in today’s context.
• Dictionary: Encompassing over 500 frequently used theological terms across categories such as Systematic, Historical, Moral, Biblical, Liturgical, and Cultural, the Dictionary is organized for ease of use in educational settings. Terms can be bookmarked for convenience during exam preparations and include extensive links to further online references.
• Maps: The Maps tab features more than 40 custom geolocated pins classified by Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, and Social Justice.
